Milk [Toronto] – It’s time for a Rockin’ Lobster Roll!
Do you have a hunger for large marine crustaceans? Are you ready for an old fashioned lobster boil served in a steaming campfire pot? Or perhaps you want something lighter like a delicate lobster taco or a crunchy grilled lobster roll accompanied by some crunchy chips? Well Rock Lobster on Queen West may be just the place to check out! Their signature lobster poutine is “only in Canada” and probably the best thing to order off the menu if you’re looking for heart-stoppingly good pure lobster pleasure. Fresh chunks of pink lobster crumbled over a bed of potato wedges mixed with Quebec’s finest cheese curds and doused with a mouthwatering lobster bisque gravy… What’s not to love?!
The origins of this highly popular restaurant began in the owner’s food truck days and quickly spread to several locations around the city. Nowadays the spot on Queen West sometimes has an hour and a half wait (no reservations, sorry). If it’s warm out and you want some peaceful rays, the backyard patio has a Muskoka laid back feel and voted one of Toronto’s finest.
