Milk [Berlin] – On the hunt for the city’s best Fro-yo
Milk isn’t suggesting that you have to breakup with ice cream this summer but with the warmer weather on our doorstep we suggest a lighter, more refreshing alternative during these endless sunny days. In the first installment of Milk’s Top 3 countdown, we bring you the ultimate guide to frozen yogurt. We have licked and tasted our way to the city’s best fro-yo and each one is Milk-approved for overall taste and quality. And [drumroll] the winners are…
#3 – Efa’s
Straight off the organic press and naturally sweetened with agave syrup, Efa’s yogurt is sour but rich. Top it off with something sweet like fresh fruit and wafer cookies. The shops interior is angular in design with big white pillowed seating. Perhaps the best part about Efa’s is their outside patio. It’s easy to enjoy some of their good stuff while checking out the ‘Kasting Allee’ scensters on a glorious sunny afternoon.
#2 – Wonderpots
Don’t confuse this sweet little shop with the one in Alexa. The location on Georgenstrasse is the only game in town. Another organic, fat-free, probiotic delight, Wonderpots whips up fro-yo fast and professional. The shop is modern and cheerful in design and they cater to every topping-cravers’ fancy. Kids love this place and you will too, with both paws stuck to the glass checking out one of this summer’s best places to have a frozen treat.
#1 – Yoli
Yoli comes in at top of the pop’s with the ultimate in frozen yogurt satisfaction. You get the basics: no sugar, probiotic and fat free. We love the cheerful, carefree shoebox sized location on Münzstraße with regular line-ups coming out the door; a sure sign that their fro-yo is darn good. With their ‘All we can top’ deal, there are plenty of enticing toppings to consider and you shouldn’t worry about leaving your favorite one out. Choose from delicious fruits and other sweet treats to adorn the most delicious yogurt in town.
