Aesop is Mitte’s newest skincare boutique, an 80 square metre retail and concept store, and true oasis of calm. The first thing that hits you as you walk in is the aroma. Warm botanical scents take hold of your senses and don’t let go. Then there’s the beautiful décor of soft green slate tiles and natural earthy ferns, industrial steel lighting and a sturdy oak countertop. Magic potions in tiny black bottles adorn the shelves, beautifully presented and laid out. This is a place of style! Worldwide, no two Aesop stores are the same as the brand chooses to team up with a diverse group of architects to create its uniquely designed concept spaces. The Mitte boutique is designed by Berlin-based studio Weiss-heiten; it’s easy to feel good in this store with such delightful and courteous staff eager to share the range of glorious and amazing products.
